day out again with caren justin and ben
was an impromptu arrangement to go for a spin and coffee out... juz picked me up at noon and we went ikea for lunch. ordered 15meatballs, cold prawn and fav daim cake... only came to realise tat juz couldnt take beef tis few days after we placed the food on the table!!! wth, but the smart me told him tat we could packed it for caren later. else i gotta finish all 15 ballies all my myself. tho meatball @ikea is superb, too much is disgusting still. =) it was my first time trying their cold prawns. its kinda like fresh shrimps. one or two is pretty nice, too much is too salty, but juz likes it... he had the entire bowl of shrimps for lunch....

haha! told him tat he's gonna hav high cholestrol and liver problem really young! after lunch, we went to pick caren up... we left her 2 whole hours to get ready and bathe. this girl is well known for taking her own sweet time to get ready esp, time needed to bathe... she suggested that we go to arab street for the famous and "super nice" teh tarik... had a hard time finding our way there and to find a carpark slot. end up parking at the hotel nearby. caren oso showed us the big HUGE mentos along on the street. teh tarik tasted normal and a little too sweet tho...
next we met up with ben and we went east coast for korean food. authentic korean food where they serve all the various kinds of side dishes which are free flow... we were all so dead full after dinner, no thoughts of having desserts at all since all of us had the feeling of giving birth oredi.
juz drove us to barrage where we just sat, enjoyed the wind and talked abt almost anything. topics all so random and creative. all thanks to caren the great mind who can think of the most creative, unexpected, funniest and imaginary qns... oh we saw the moon, and she said something abt chang er, den something abt it looking like the salty egg yolk... it was windy, cloud covered the moon, and chang er end up eating the egg yolk...
